Pathways: New Pathways for YouthSpring is all about You(th)!
Ever wonder what makes new pathways tick?

No doubt about it—it’s our youth!

Every day our community center comes to life with their energy. Our mentors find renewed purpose and inspiration in their matches. Our neighborhoods are made more whole by the synergy we create, transforming lives as we #TransformPHX.

This year’s annual breakfast fundraiser, held at the Phoenix Art Museum, put our amazing youth in focus. If you were there, you witnessed the spirit of community at work. You heard their stories and got a glimpse into their lives.

Our youth drive us to be the change we want to see in Arizona.

If you weren’t there, we’ll see you at next year’s breakfast! Because after reading this month’s PATHWAYS you’ll be hooked on our amazing youth and wanna get more of that INSPIRATION they have to share!

New Pathways for Youth Annual Breakfast

This year New Pathways for Youth decided to turn the tables on our annual breakfast fundraiser. Instead of our staff, mentors and sponsors, it was our youth who took center stage, lending their voice and vision to what was an unforgettable morning.

Alliance Residential Company Industry Profile

Alliance Residential is one of the largest builders, managers and investors in multifamily housing developments in the U.S. New Pathways for Youth is proud to partner with them to bring opportunities to our youth and our community. We sat down with them to find out what inspires Alliance to #TransformPHX

So, Alliance, why New Pathways for Youth?

NPFY is a natural fit for us. We’re based in Phoenix and New Pathways is a local organization making such a positive impact in the community. More importantly, we value New Pathways’ commitment and focus on transformational coaching for Phoenix’s disaffected youth as well as its strong emphasis on leadership.

Why is it important that Alliance gives back to the community?

Giving back is part of our cultural fabric. Our business in multifamily housing allows us to impact the design and structure of the larger communities we serve, which is why we value and promote the importance of community involvement and supporting those in need through our Alliance Cares program.

Alliance Cares

Why is mentoring so important to our youth?

Investing in our youth is extremely important. Alliance believes it is our duty to help those who may not have positive role models in any way we can, as those influences have a large impact later in life.

What is some advice Alliance can give to other businesses/organizations still sitting on the sidelines?

Jump in! We find that partnering with local nonprofits is not only the right thing to do, it’s one of the best things an organization can do to increase associate engagement. Corporate citizenship provides a meaningful way for associates to get to know their teams better, create common bonds and impact communities where they work and live in a positive way.

What’s one thing people probably don’t know about Alliance Residential?

Since 2012, we have collected and donated more than 12,700 school supplies and 23,000 toys through two of our annual Alliance Cares campaigns.
